Renaissance Festival Clothes

I've gotten the under part of my skirt done for the renaissance festival.

Welcome to My Blog

I'm beginning my journey making vintage reproduction clothing for my wardrobe. My goal for 2015 is to have made (or found at Goodwill and altered) at least 50% of my clothing. It is also of note that I am a sci-fi/fantasy/superhero geek. I love Firefly, Doctor Who, Agent Carter, Avengers, Lord of the Rings... The list goes on. My favorite superhero is Captain America, though I'm sure my WWII obsession has something to do with that. My clothes-sewing and geeky interests meet in one of my other hobbies: cosplay. So far, I've only cosplayed Kaylee from Firefly, Black Widow from Avengers, genderbent Mal from Firefly, and Grell Sutcliffe from the anime Black Butler. I'm a FashionistaGeek and these are my adventures.
